You gotta remember that the ls heads usually only need like 28 degrees...i accidentally ran my 6l with .040 off 799s @ 36 and it didn't damage it... Dialed it back to 28 made the same power lol... Didn't lose mph at the track.

Hey Tony if you need a home for some work benches I would be interested especially if they have steel bases and I’m in PA with a trailer to take them home for the right price.

I went back and looked at Richard Holdners LS manifold intake shootout. That Holley carb manifold runs identical numbers to the factory LS1 manifold. The lsxr102 manifold picked up nearly 50hp over the factory ls1 manifold. I can imagine you will pick up around 40hp over that holley carb manifold you guys are running.

There has got to be a hvac RUclipsr that could put in a few mini splits in that shop. Do it Stay⚡️Tuned style. Cheap and effective. Running central air would cost them their entire budget for three years.

On todays episode of people are losing their minds, a car from the 90’s with over 100,000 miles is somehow worth 100 grand, like I get they’re cool, but it’s still insane, that money could get you a sizable down payment on an actual house or a piece of land, anyone paying that much for cars should not be friends with me, I will die on that hill every single day

For priming LS engines I got a portable air tank from HF and adaptor to the oil port near the front of the engine to 4an. I pour 6 quarts in the tank and fill it with 80 psi. Flip the tank over and turn it on. Have to usually refill the tank air but I fill a new engine this way.

I like that blue color on the vette. Good job on the motor! Anxious to see what adventures you have with that new toy.

I love this build brother!!!! I am using a Amazon garden sprayer to lube my Ls3 as well!!! A barbed fitting a piece of hose and 2 clamps. $25 and I can prime my engine!!!!! Hell no I ain't paying $200 for a oil primer setup!!! And I don't have a air compressor lol.

Tony, I sincerely love the show and wholeheartedly support your corvette project. I'm particularly interested to learn how you intend to address the issue I've found with my supercharged C6. That issue as you probably have guessed it the weak transmission & rear end on these cars. All the cheap LS power in the world means nothing since first drop of the hammer on sticky tires will result in broken driveline every time. What's cheap fix for a bullet proof manual transmission, rear differential and axles in this C5?!

Buy a cheap small razor gasket scraper, most parts stores have them in a container on the counter usually. At least my parts store😊

Tony, 3M has these roloc bristle disc (3M-18730) and they are amazing for removing old gasket or paint. Since they are made of plastic, they will not remove any metal. I just love them. They make a hard job so easy.
